We generally agree with that definition, but to put it more succinctly… A managed service is a service where you do not have to concern yourself with the problem or it’s solution. No need to worry about supplies, scheduling, or directing staff. It is an outcome oriented, rather than a process oriented, approach to delivering customer service.

Below is a model of all of the elements that make up house cleaning as a managed service. Without treating home cleaning as a managed service, the homeowner has more complications in obtaining a clean home.
